Abstract:
PURPOSE:To arbitrarily vary the dividing angle without exchanging a cam and a following turret by installing the first clutch means for connecting and disconnecting the trailing gear with a driven shaft and the second clutch means for connecting and disconnecting a following turret with the driven shaft. CONSTITUTION:When the dividing angle is varied from theta1 to theta2, the signal for setting a dividing angle theta2 is input into a control apparatus, and the controller turns ON the first clutch apparatus 26 and turns OFF the second clutch apparatus 36 in the switching region A1-A2 where each angular speed of a following turret 22 and a trailing gear 24 becomes equal, on the basis of the input signal supplied from a revolution angle sensor 38 for detecting the revolution angle position of a driving shaft 10. Then, the turning force of the driving shaft 10 is transmitted to a driven shaft 11 through a prime gear 19, trailing gear 24, and the first clutch apparatus 26, and revolves the driven shaft 11 at equal speed. When the turning angle position of the driving shaft 10 is set in the prescribed switching region B1-B2, the driven shaft 11 is revolved intermittently by a switching signal, and the driven shaft 11 is brought into stop at a dividing angle of theta2.
