To provide a camber controlling method capable of accurately calculating a correction amount of levelling and executing the levelling at an early stage, to provide a manufacturing method for a rolling stock, and to provide a rolling machine.
The camber controlling method controls the camber of a rolling stock 5 to be rolled by the rolling machine 50 provided with: work rolls 1a, 1a; detecting means 21, 22 to detect a lateral displacement of the rolling stock 5 rolled by the work rolls 1a, 1a; an analyzing means 30 to analyze the result detected by the detecting means 21, 22 and to control the action of the work rolls 1a, 1a; and a control means 3 to control the levelling, based on the levelling deviation analyzed by the analyzing means 30. In the analyzing means 30, a levelling deviation ΔS is analyzed using the formula containing, as parameters, the following: a lateral displacement y of the rolling stock 5; distances Lo between the detecting means 21, 22 and work rolls 1a, 1a; and a friction factor μ between the rolling stock 5 and a table roller for carrying the portion of the stock 5 after its passing through the work rolls 1a, 1a.
