Abstract:
To provide a camera calibration device which does not require work on a road and which materializes reduction of the cost thereof.SOLUTION: A camera calibration device comprises: a camera 11 which photographs a road and acquires a captured image; a three-dimensional point group data storage unit 13 which stores three-dimensional point group data of the road; calibration units 18 and 19 which compare the captured image acquired by the camera 11 with the three-dimensional point group data stored in the three-dimensional point group data storage unit 13 to thereby make an edge and a corner of the object present on the road to correspond to each other; and a homography matrix calculation unit 20 which recognizes the object on the road by performing homography matrix calculation on the edge and the corner which are made to correspond to each other by the calibration units 18 and 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
