To provide a camera device capable of eliminating the housing impossible state of a zoom lens caused by the sudden drop of battery voltage without reducing consecutive working time, and to provide a lens housing method and electronic equipment capable of eliminating various housing impossible states caused by the sudden drop of the battery voltage without reducing the consecutive working time.
When power source voltage drops to be equal to or under reference voltage (3.4V), lens housing operation and data writing operation in a flush memory are started. If the power source voltage drops to operation allowable voltage (3.0V) before finishing the housing operation, the lens housing operation is stopped, and then power supply to the respective parts is stopped after waiting for the finish of the data writing operation. After 0.5 seconds, it is confirmed that the power source voltage is restored to be equal to or above the reference voltage, and the lens housing operation is restarted (b). Thus, the reference voltage can be set low.
