Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a camera from being deteriorated by radiation, to thereby utilize a camera that uses solid state image sensors such as a CCD (Charge Coupled Device) image sensor, a CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) image sensor, or the like, and further to be capable of photographing a wide range of area using a lens whose view angle is wide.SOLUTION: An optical part of a monitoring camera comprises: a lens 15; a camera 17 for photographing an image through the lens 15; and a long relay lens 16 optically connecting the lens 15 and an image sensor of the camera 17 so as to form an image on the image sensor of the camera 17 and an image sensor of a camera 18 through the lens 15. The optical part is housed in a protective case 1 arranged so as to penetrate through a radiation shield wall 30. Only the lens 15 is arranged in front of shields 7, 8 in the protective case 1, the camera 17 is arranged in the rear of the shields 7, 8 in the protective case 1, and the relay lens 16 is provided so as to penetrate through the shields 7, 8 in the protective case 1.
