Abstract:
To obtain a camera device which makes it possible to visually and instantaneously recognize that a lens cap is left closed during photography.
The camera device equipped with the lens cap 10 opposite to the front of a lens to protect the lens when no picture is taken, and the lens cap 10 has a translucent protection surface part 10a and a translucent display part 11 for characters 'CAP' on the protection surface part 10a; when the lens cap 10 is present in front of the lens during photography, an image of the display part 11 is projected on a liquid crystal screen 5a because of the light and shade difference between the protection surface part 10a and display part 11, so that the presence of the lens gap 10 can visually be recognized.
