Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable satisfactorily photographing a subject at a long distance having a risk of underexposure by single light emitting action of a flash device.
SOLUTION: As for the camera 1, multiple exposure photographing is performed while emitting light from the flash device 3 as many times as the set number of times for one-frame photographing when a release button 5 is depressed in a state where a multi-light emission mode is set by operating a mode setting dial 6. By photographing while emitting light from the flash device 3 several times during a single exposure for every one-frame photographing in such way, the arrival distance of the flash light is enlarged. Besides, by arranging a variable transmissivity filter in the flash device 3 and changing the transmissivity distribution pattern stepwise in synchronism with the emission of the flash light, such risk can be prevented that the subject positioned at a close distance with reference to the camera 1 is overexposed by emitting light several times.
