PURPOSE: To insert a title picture and a voice synchronized with a motion of an object to be photographed by recording a control signal generated in accordance with the object to be photographed, in a recording medium and setting it as a generation timing of the title picture and the voice.

CONSTITUTION: When an insertion timing control signal of a title picture or sound signal is received, a control part 8 gives an instruction to a recording part so as to record a title picture or a sound signal call control signal. The recording part 6 records the control signal concerned in a track being independent from a video/sound signal recording track of a magnetic tape 32. Also, when the control signal concerned is outputted at the time of reproduction, the control part 8 outputs the title picture or voice selecting signal. A superimposing circuit 4 and a PSG 1 output a title picture and a voice corresponding to the selecting signal concerned, and adding circuits 37, 10 add them to a reproducing video signal and a reproducing sound signal outputted from a reproducing part 9. In this regard, the insertion timing control signal is generated by a portable control signal generating means, and it is desirable that it is subjected to wireless transmission.
