Abstract:
To provide a camera capable of photographing such that when a subject is a person, the face is not sharply portrayed and a program for the camera.
A xenon tube 53 of a flash unit projects light on a subject 40. The projection quantity of the xenon tube 53 is controlled by a CPU 10 through a flash circuit 26. Further, the CPU 10 calculates a correction value for the projection quantity of the xenon tube 53. Furthermore, the CPU 10 increases the projection quantity of the xenon tube 53 of the flash unit according to the calculated correction value when a specified photographic mode wherein light is always projected while the face of a person is considered to be a main object to be photographed is selected.
