Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make possible freeze photographing by providing a freeze operating member, etc. and operating a film winding member after the freeze operation was made thereby resetting the automatic focusing device, etc. to the states before the freeze operation without winding the film.

CONSTITUTION: With the main subject being held brought within the range finding range of the visual field of the camera, a freeze operating member 32 is turned to its operating position. This turning causes an interlocking lever 38 to be pushed counterclockwise to release the detention of a range finding driving member 6. As a result, the range finding driving member 6 and lens driving member 13 are slided leftward by springs 12, 13 and the state wherein the focus of a photographing lens 16 is matched to the main subject to be photographed and only the shutter release operation is left is assumed. Next, the camera angle is changed again from this state, after which the shutter release member 1 is slided downward by pushing down of a shutter button 43, whereby shutter release is accomplished. In this way, freeze photographing may be performed.
