Abstract:

To provide a camera system for obtaining appropriate image data even from a disk-shaped image.

This invention improves a conventional camera system for generating image data by using an image sensor. The system is characterized by including a correction means for correcting a logarithmic compression curve of input output characteristics of the image sensor on the basis of the number of pixels whose lightness in the disk-shaped area is a threshold value or more among all image data from the image sensor.
