Title:
CAMERA WITH BUILT-IN SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3766518
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate drawing by which the shortest distance up to the ground surface can be measured and an inclination of the ground surface of a photographing point can be easily obtained by arranging a distance measuring sensor to measure a distance up to a prescribed target from a camera main body on either surface except for a surface on which a lens of a camera is arranged.
SOLUTION: A camera bottom part is sunk in the almost center, and a distance measuring sensor 40 is arranged in its sunk part 41. The distance measuring sensor 40 is rotatably arranged around a rotary shaft A extending in the vertical direction to the optical axis of a photographing optical system 12 through a support shaft 42. The distance measuring sensor 40 is driven in rotation by a motor 44, but in an external force unapplied condition, a detecting surface 40a of the distance measuring sensor 40 is always horizontal by dead weight. The distance measuring sensor 40 measures a distance up to an object on the basis of a position of the incident light by receiving the reflected light coming back by being reflected by the object (the ground surface) after emitting the infrared light from a light projecting part by a PSD(Position Sensitive Device) arranged in a light receiving part.
