Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always obtain a naturally photographed image by automatically and appropriately switching a bouncing mode and a direct projection mode, as to a camera equipped with a strobe 30 incorporated with the camera main body 1.
SOLUTION: As for the camera with a built-in strobe, it is judged whether or not auxiliary light by the strobe 30 is necessary at photographing an object, and in the case of judging that the auxiliary light is necessary and also a macro mode is set, the bouncing mode is automatically set. The strobe 30 is supported so that it may turn between a 1st attitude where the light projecting direction faces a photographing direction and a 2nd attitude where the light projecting direction is deviated from the photographing direction, and also, the strobe 30 is linked by a driving mechanism so as to be driven back and forth between both attitudes. Besides, the base end part of a bouncing reflection plate 2 is pivotally supported in the camera main body 1 and the plate 2 can be open/ closed between a closed and an open attitude.
