To provide a camera with a data imprinting device which can be mounted without making the form of a camera large and is convenient for assembly by simplifying constitution.

As for the constitution of the camera, a data imprinting optical path is formed in a side wall frame body 22a forming a part of the side wall of a spool chamber 26, and also a data imprinting unit 22 is constituted by previously attaching an LED module 23, an LED mask 23a, a reflection mirror 24 and an image formation lens 25 on the frame body 22a, then the unit 22 is assembled in a main body 21 together with a fixed lens barrel frame 11, whereby the frame body 22a, the circular-arc part 11b of the frame 11 and the spool chamber part 21a of the main body 21 form the spool chamber 26, and the unitized data imprinting device is mounted in the camera.
