Abstract:
To provide a camera capable of intercepting unnecessary light entering a lens while solving the problem that the niceness of its outside appearance is spoiled.
The camera is equipped with a negative LCD 15 provided in front of a photographic lens and setting light in a non-transmitted state when photographing is not performed and a control means (CPU 34 and LCD control means 32) driving and controlling the negative LCD 15 to be set in a light transmitting state at least when exposure operation is performed.
