Title:
CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010008507
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To perform accurate AF by following a subject moving at high speed.

A camera has: a thin film mirror 201 which divides a photographic luminous flux from a photographic optical system 101 which images a luminous flux from a subject, and guides the resulting luminous fluxes to an imaging element 202 and a range finding block 215 including a focus detection part 206 which detects a focal position by a phase difference detection system; a mobile body detection part 203 which detects a mobile body based on a signal from the imaging element 202; and a lens control part 102 which adjusts the focus position of the photographic optical system based on the focal position from the focus detection part 206. The camera further has: a control part 208 which controls the timing of the focus detection part 206 and the mobile body detection part 203; and a prediction arithmetic part 209 which predicts a motion of the subject based on focus detection information detected by the focus detection part 206 and mobile body information detected by the mobile body detection part 203.
