Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a camera whose structure is simple, which is inexpensive and which is constituted so that an optical state can be switched.
CONSTITUTION: This camera is provided with photographing optical systems 3 and 4 which can be displaced between a first position being the first optical state where a photographing action can be executed and a second position being the second optical state which is different from the first optical state, driving devices 12, 13, 14,... driving the optical systems 3 and 4 between the first and the second positions, a detection device 61 detecting whether the optical systems 3 and 4 are placed at the first position or the second position and outputting the detected result, a switch operated in order to switch the optical states of the optical systems 3 and 4 and returned to a non-operation state when the operation is released and a control circuit starting the driving devices 12, 13, 14,... based on the output of the detection device 61 every time that the switch is operated so that the optical systems 3 and 4 are driven to be moved to the second position when they are at the first position and moved to the first position when they are at the second position.
