Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera constituted so that a detecting arm hardly affects the dimension constitution of a film cartridge chamber constituting wall.
SOLUTION: An L-shaped detecting arm 40a is arranged along a notch 36 formed from the end wall 32 of the film cartridge chamber constituting wall to its peripheral wall 34, one outside end 41a is pivotally attached to the end wall 32, to be energized inward by a leaf spring member 46a and the other outside end 43a is confronted with the opening window 16 of a film cartridge 10. When a notch 28 appears in the opening window 16, the detecting arm 40a is intruded into the notch 28, to prevent the insertion of the cartridge 10. When the notch 28 does not appear, the detecting arm 40a is thrust into the cartridge 10 and pivoted to retreat in the notch 36, so that the cartridge 10 can be inserted.
