PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pressure plate from being erroneously set, and also, to attain a pressure plate switching operation at a bright place even after a photographic film with a light shielding paper is fed.
SOLUTION: The film sensitivity and film type, etc., of a photographic film 3 are shown by the bar code 10 of an attached tape 7 which is obtained by attaching the light shielding paper 4 of the photographic roll film to the photographic film 3. Just after the photographic roll film is loaded, a first frame setting operation is performed, and during the first frame setting operation, the bar code 10 is read by using a photosensor 38. Whether or not the position of the pressure plate obtained from the detection result of a pressure plate switch 39a corresponds to a film type obtained by the bar code 10 is judged by a CPU 40, and in the case the position does not correspond to the film type, an alarm is given by flickering the film type display of an LCD 27. Thereafter, a carrying switch 30 is operated, then, the photographic film 5 with the light shielding paper fed to the photographic roll film 1 is rewound.
