PURPOSE: To easily and surely photograph an artistic photograph, especially, without failure.

CONSTITUTION: A photographing optical system 3 which forms an object image on a silver salt film 5, a photographing state changing means 12 which changes the photographing state of an object and a finder means are provided in a camera where the finder means is provided with an electric image pickup means 6 converting the object image into an electric signal, a correcting means 7 correcting the electric signal obtained by the electric image pickup means 6 in accordance with the change of the photographing state by the photographing state changing means 12 and a display means 8 displaying the object image based on the electric signal corrected by the correcting means 7. Moreover, the photographing state changing means 12 indicates that at least one of a diaphragm value, shutter speed, a filter characteristic and a film photosensitive characteristic is changed. Thus, the image which is extremely close to the image which is actually obtained by photographing can be observed through the finder.
