Title:
CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09236852
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve operability by making a red-eye phenomenon reduction effect compatible with the shortening of a time lag up to release, in a consecutive photographing mode.

A flashing device for this camera is provided with a voltage detecting circuit for detecting a voltage for charging a main capacitor, a flashing control circuit 4 for controlling flashing, a red-eye light source 2 for reducing a red-eye phenomenon, a timer circuit 14 for counting a charging time in synchronization with the start of charging a flash, a memory circuit 15 for storing a predictively calculated recycling time and a battery checking voltage detecting circuit 17 for checking a power source. At this time, the flashing device is further provided with a predictive arithmetic means (processing by a CPU 1) for calculating a recycling time for a second shot with the battery checking voltage and recycling time of a first shot, at the time of executing consecutive photographing and a red-eye phenomenon reducing means (lighting control by the CPU 1) which lights the red-eye light source during a charging operation for the second shot and turns off the red-eye source, to attain the release, when charging is completed.
