In the camera which is equipped with a film take-up spool 7 and in which plural kinds of films different in film width can be loaded, the spool is provided with plural cylindrical parts different in level formed in such a manner that an outside diameter is made smaller stepwise from both ends to the inside in an axial direction. The positions or widths in the axial direction of the cylindrical parts in each step (the cylindrical parts 7a and 7d in the first steps and the cylindrical part 7c in the second step) are set according to the widths of various kinds of films. Moreover, a pawl 7b engaged with a perforation is formed in the cylindrical part in a fixed step (first step) and a friction means 21 rubbing against the film is provided in the cylindrical part in the step (second step) except the fixed step.
