Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a camshaft manufacturing device capable of surely pressing a cam piece in a shaft even tolerance between the outer diameter of the shaft and the shaft hole of the cam piece is small.
CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with chuck means 15 and 16 grasping one end part of a shaft 1 to be moved in a shaft axis direction and rotating the shaft, center means 18 and 19 moved in the shaft axis direction to aligning- support the other end part of the shaft, a clamp means 20 moved along a surface crossing in the shaft axis direction to detachably grasping plural cam pieces 2 with their shaft holes exposed, and working means 23 and 24 forming annular rises on a shaft outer peripheral surface.
