Abstract:
To provide a can cutter which smoothly opens the cap or the bottom cap of a medium-sized can such as a pail can.
A can 20 is pushed down along a guide plate 11 for a cutting plate 12 to bite and cut open a bottom cap 21. The plate 12 has an arc shaped part along the shape of the can and a perpendicularly bent end part. A bite preventive piece 13 is provided in the neighborhood of the plate 12 inside. By this, the cut edge part of the cap 21 is bent for preventing biting between the plate 12 and the edge part being cut open.
