PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can manufacturing apparatus which does not change an upper dead point and a lower dead point of a working table, can change an effective stroke with a simple structure, and can manufacture cans having various working heights.SOLUTION: The can manufacturing apparatus includes: a body frame 4; a holding table 3 which is supported by the body frame 4 and holds a cylindrical body; a working table which makes the holding table 3 supported by the body frame 4 through a shaft portion passing through a table shaft TA direction, is arranged so as to face the holding table 3 from the table shaft TA direction, and has a working tool working the cylindrical body; a crank mechanism 8 which reciprocally moves the working table to the holding table 3 in the table shaft TA direction; a table index mechanism 9 which intermittently rotates and moves the holding table 3 around the table shaft TA with respect to the working table; a first drive motor 11 driving the crank mechanism 8; and a second drive motor 12 driving the table index mechanism 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
