Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a candle the container of which variously decorated or colored is easily produced by molding and which provides soft lighting suitable for making a mood and is highly safe since it spontaneously extinguishes at the end of burning.
CONSTITUTION: The candle comprises a candle 1 consisting of a burning material and a wick and a container 2 produced by molding a transparent or translucent compsn. which consists mainly of a metal salt of a higher fatty acid or a resin acid, sugar, and an alcohol and contains, if necessary, a colorant and a perfume.
