Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing tool capable of efficiently installing a gate used in a canoe competition and to provide a canoe competition gate fixing method using the fixing tool.SOLUTION: A canoe competition gate fixing tool is used for positioning and fixing a canoe competition gate being movable along a guide rope and includes: an insertion part 3 for inserting the guide rope therethrough; a holding part 4 for allowing the guide rope to be held or released from holding in the insertion part 3 and fixing the gate fixing tool at a desired position of the guide rope when the guide rope is held; a spring 51 for retaining the holding part 4 in a holding state by means of elasticity; and a gate connection part 6 capable of being connected with the gate and for switching the holding part 4 to a holding release state when pulled downward together with the connected gate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
