Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cantilever which can extract a resonance frequency in a prescribed oscillation mode at a high SN and can excellently identify the frequency.
CONSTITUTION: A cantilever 11 has first notches 13 and 14 on the outside of its front end section 11a and a second notch 16 on the inside of the V-shape of the front end section 11a. The cantilever 11 also has a rectangular first hole 15 near the front end section 11a and hexagonal second holes 17 and 18 near its two base end sections 11b. Therefore, the cantilever 11 can extract signals at a high SN, because the resonance frequencies of the cantilever 11 in the secondary and tertiary oscillation modes can be sufficiently separated from each other.
