Abstract:
To satisfactorily attach a cap to a cup.SOLUTION: A cap mounting device comprises a pair of movable parts 51 that can move with each other in the horizontal direction, and an elevating mechanism 22 for raising and lowering them. The cap mounting device further comprises a drive mechanism 43 that moves the pair of movable parts 51 between the closed position, the first half-open position, the second half-open position, and the open position, and a pair of position control plates 48 that move back and forth to an upper region 51H between the movable parts 51 in conjunction with movement of the pair of movable parts 51. In the pair of position control plates, the separation distance from each other becomes larger than the outer diameter of a cap A when the movable portions 51 are arranged in the closed position and the open position, while the side surface of the cap A is pressed and held to hold it when the movable parts 51 are arranged in the first half-open position and the second half-open position. The drive mechanism 43 moves the movable parts 51 from the closed position to the second half-open position, until the movable parts descend to a cap mounting height position H2, and when the cap A is placed on a cup U at the cap mounting height position H2, the movable parts are moved from the second half-open position to the open position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
