Abstract:
To provide a cap of an emergency operation cable of an electric parking brake which dispenses with a tool accommodation place, and has no necessity for finding a tool at an emergency.SOLUTION: A cap main body 12 is formed into a bottomed cylindrical shape obtained by defining a circular columnar accommodation space 16 whose one side in a first direction is opened by a cylindrical peripheral wall part 14 and a bottom wall part 15 for blocking the other side of the peripheral wall part 14 in a first direction. A female screw 18 which can be screwed with a male screw of an operated part is formed at an internal peripheral face of at least one side of the peripheral wall part 14. The cap main body 12 is attached to the operated part in a state of covering a lock protrusion by screwing the female screw 18 to the male screw by inserting the lock protrusion of the operated part into an accommodation space 16 from one side. An engagement hole 13 is formed at the cap main body 12 integrally therewith, and recessed in a second direction intersecting with the first direction. The engagement hole 13 can be engaged with the lock protrusion of the operated part in a state that the cap main body 12 is removed from the operated part by releasing the screwing of the female screw 18 and the male screw.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
