Abstract:
To make a peripheral edge of a door less susceptible to effects of water that has entered.SOLUTION: A capacitance sensor 50 includes a sensor electrode 71 and a shield electrode 72 that extend along a door peripheral edge 20x of a swing door 20 that opens and closes a door opening of a vehicle. The sensor electrode 71 and the shield electrode 72 are, in a state of being supported by a support member 73 fixed to the door peripheral edge 20x, arranged at a position closer to an inside of the vehicle than a seal projection part 60 of a door weather strip 53 protruding from the door peripheral edge 20x. Further, the shield electrode 72 has a wide shape extending in a thickness direction of the swing door 20 and is arranged at a position between the sensor electrode 71 and a fixed part 75 of the support member 73 disposed at the door peripheral edge 20x. Moreover, the sensor electrode 71 has a narrower shape than the shield electrode 72 and is disposed unevenly in the thickness direction of the swing door 20, at a position inside the vehicle, away from the seal projection part 60 within a range where the shield electrode 72 extends.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
