Abstract:
To provide a capacitor device, a fixing device, and an image forming apparatus capable of comprehending a failure of a capacitor device and easy to use.
Failure-detecting means are provided 48-50 that detect a failure of the capacitor device 41 that supplies discharged electric power from a capacitor 42 that can be charged and discharged to a power-feeding body 23. When a failure of the capacitor device 41 is detected by the failure-detecting means 48-50, the number of sheets transferred per unit time is reduced in a plurality of recording media that are transferred continuously to the fixing devices 21-23.
