Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the abnormal increase in the output voltage of the capacitor- excitation brushless self-exciting synchronous generator even if a rotor is excessively rotated by controlling a stator current in response to the rotating speed of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:When the rotor is rotated with an engine, small amount of lead current Ic will flow in a capacitor-excitation winding 2 due to the residual magnetic flux of the rotor. Thereafter, the lead current Ic of a winding 2 will gradually increase due to the self-excitation effect, and a voltage is established. At this time, an output voltage Ea is inducted at a load winding 1. If the engine rotating speed is excessively increased, the frequency of the ignition pulse is increased so that the output voltage of a frequency-voltage converter 16 is accordingly raised. Thus, a comparator 17 will produce a positive voltage, thereby conducting a transistor 18. Thus, a coil 12 of a relay 10 is excited. Thus, a normally closed contact 11 is opened, thereby breaking the lead current in the winding 2. Accordingly, the output voltage Ea is thus lowered.
