Abstract:
To provide a capping device and a droplet ejection apparatus which are excellent in nozzle sealability.
While a winding shaft 56 is rotated to wind and move out a film member 54 in the state that the film member 54 is adhered to a nozzle surface 20A, a moving body 52 is moved along the nozzle surface 20A in a predetermined direction, and the film member 54 is adhered to the nozzle surface 20A of an ink jet recording head 20Y. Thus, the film member 54 is gradually adhered from one end of the nozzle surface 20A while the film member 54 is being wound and moved out to cap the nozzle surface 20A. Because of this, a gap is hardly generated between the film member 54 and the nozzle surface 20A, and the nozzle is excellent in the sealability.
