Abstract:
To provide a capping device which can prevent a content from being adhered to an inner side of a cap by scattering of cleaning fluid colliding with a neck part of a container.SOLUTION: A capping device 6 includes: a second rotating body R2 (transporting means) which transports a container 2 filled with a liquid content; and a capping head 11 which moves in synchronization with the container 2 and holds a cap 5 above the container 2. The capping device includes a neck part cleaning nozzle 33 which jets cleaning fluid to a neck part 2b of the container 2 on a moving locus of the container 2 moved by the second rotating body R2 and at an upstream side of an attachment position of the cap 5 attached by the capping head 11. A partition plate 32 is provided between the neck part cleaning nozzle 33 and the capping head 11 along a neck part cleaning section B in which the neck part cleaning nozzle 33 jets the cleaning fluid to the neck part 2b of the container 2. The capping head 11 attaches the cap 5 to the neck part 2b of the container 2 after the cap 5 passes through the neck part cleaning section B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
