Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rigidity of a roof rear end part, make the roof rear end part watertightly excellent and improve visibility performance by providing a groove extending in the vehicle width direction in the vicinity of the vehicle width direction center, in the vicinity of the lower end part of the vertical surface of a lower step surface.
SOLUTION: On the rear end part of a roof panel 10, a lower step surface 10c which is lower than a general surface 10b is provided via a vertical surface 10a. A tongue piece part 10d folded once on the lower side is provided at the rear end of the lower step surface 10c. A back door is mounted so that it may be opened and closed via a hinge. A weather strip for securing watertightness with the back door is mounted on the tongue piece part 10d. On the lower step surface 10c, a groove 10g extending in the vehicle width direction is provided between two hinge mounting parts 10e formed on both the sides of the vehicle width direction. The groove 10g is installed adjacently to the lower end part of the vertical surface 10a and the groove bottom surface of the groove 10g is inclined to be lower at it goes outward in the vehicle width direction.
