PURPOSE: To provide an opening/closing control device for car door having two opening/closing shafts which is able to perform the specified door opening/ closing motions with a single driving means on the car body side and which is embodied simple, small, and light, and to provide a car door opening/closing control device which is equipped with a driving means only on the car body side and wherein the door itself is made small and light.

CONSTITUTION: An opening/closing control device for a car door includes a driving means 10 to drive two opening/closing shafts 3, 4, brakes 14, 17 to restrain the rotational motions of the shafts, clutches 16, 16 to coupled the output shaft of the driving means with the opening/closing shafts, and a transmitting means 20 which transmits the drive of the first shaft to the second shaft, wherein the operations of the clutches and brakes are controlled to perform the opening/closing drive of the door, and the predetermined door opening/ closing motions are conducted.
