PURPOSE: To simply and surely block the clearance by providing a means to turnably mount a blocking member to block the clearance generated between a car sill and a hall sill when the car is landed, and movably mount a pushing rod to turn the blocking member on the lower side of the car floor.

CONSTITUTION: A blocking member 4 to block the clearance generated between a car sill 2 and a hall sill 3 when the car is landed is turnably mounted. A pushing rod 5 to turn the blocking member 4 is movably mounted by a bearing 6 on the lower side of the car floor. A driving lever 7 is mounted on the lower surface of the pushing rod 5, and a female screw part 8 is provided on the lower end. A shaft 15 for a belt wheel is provided in a parallel manner to the pushing rod 5 on the lower end of the bearing 6, and a belt wheel 16 and a male screw part 17 to be engaged with the female screw part 8 are provided thereon. A rack is provided forward of the lower end of a cage door, and a gear to be engaged with the rack in the opening/closing operation of the cage door is provided at the front end of the cage floor. The load of the blocking member 4 is received by the pushing rod 5 and the cage floor 1.
