PURPOSE: To obtain an extrusion molded part having high glossiness while keeping the characteristics of conventional ethylene/propylene/non-conjuated polyene copolymer rubber by subjecting a rubber composition consisting of low and high MW ethylene/propylene/non-conjugated polyene copolymer rubber to extrusion molding to vulcanize the molded product.
CONSTITUTION: Low viscosity ethylene/propylene/non-conjugated polyene copolymer rubber (A) wherein Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, 100°C) is 3 - 20, an ethylene/ propylene mole ratio is 55/45 - 85/15 and an iodine value is 3 - 50 and high viscosity ethylene/propylene/non-conjugated polyene copolymer rubber (B) wherein Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, 100°C) is 30 or more, an ethylene/propylene mol ratio is 55/45 - 85/15 and an iodine value is 3 - 50 are kneaded to prepare an ethylene/propylene/non-conjugated polyene copolymer rubber composition wherein a (B) component/(A) component wt. ratio is 90/10 - 0/100. This composition is subjected to extrusion molding and vulcanized to obtain a car part made of vulcanized rubber having glossiness of 30 or more.
