Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make the running starting timing and the deceleration starting timing suitable to the normal driving sense.
CONSTITUTION: When it is discriminated that the car-to-car distance ≤10m by the detecting result of a car-to-car distance sensor, a braking mechanism is operated unconditionally (Step 810 and 830). In case of 15m ≤ the car-to-car distance, a throttle mechanism is controlled to reduce the car-to-car distance (Step 820 and 840) In case of 10m < the car-to-car distance <15m, the tendency of the variation of the car-to-car distance is detected, and when it is extending across a specific value, the throttle mechanism is controlled (Step 850), and when it is reducing across a specific value, the braking mechanism is controlled (Step 850), and when the variation amount is small, the present condition is maintained (Step 870).
