A vehicle 1 stopped in a car washing range is detected, a car washing device 6 starts radio communication to a vehicle placing machine 2 of the vehicle 1 and transmits the data of the car washing list for selecting the car washing courses and the car washing charges of the selected car washing course. In the car placing machine 2, the data is displayed on a monitor, the data of the operation content operated by the driver is transmitted to the car washing device 6 on the basis of the display, car washing desired by the driver is performed, and settlement of the car washing charges transmitted from the car washing device 6 is performed by an inserted IC card at the car placing machine 2. Car washing is emergency-stopped by performing the emergency stop operation to the vehicle placing machine during car washing.
