To provide a uniformly carbon nanotube-dispersed polyimide resin which comprises a polyimide and carbon nanotubes uniformly dispersed in the polyimide and gives a highly excellent resin having the mechanical, electrical and thermal characteristics of the carbon nanotubes and the mechanical and chemical characteristics of the polyimide, and to provide a method for producing the same.
This uniformly carbon nanotube-dispersed polyimide resin obtained by mixing a polyamic solution with a carbon nanotube-dispersed solution comprising carbon nanotubes, an amide-based polar organic solvent and a nonionic surfactant, and/or polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and then subjecting the mixture to a dehydrative imidization reaction.
