Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon based hydrogen storage material in which a storage amount of hydrogen molecule is hardly lowered even if a compression molding is carried out.
SOLUTION: The carbon based hydrogen storage material has carbon based primary grain constituting secondary grains by aggregation; and interposed grains interposed between primary grains and comprises the carbon based modified secondary grains formed to a distance between the grains in which the hydrogen molecule is intruded between the primary grains by these interposed grains. Since the interposed grains are interposed between primary grains, the distance between the grains of the primary grains can be retained even if the hydrogen storage material is compressed. Therefore, it becomes possible that the hydrogen molecule can be absorbed and storage in a gap between the primary grains.
