This carbon black belongs a hard-based region having ≥80 (m2/g) CTAB(cetyltetraammonium bromide) and ≥80 (mL/100 g) compression DBP and satisfies selective characteristic requirements of (1) nitrogen adsorption specific surface area (N2SA); N2SA-CTAB≤50, (2) nitrogen content (N; wt.%); 3.0×10-3≤N/CTAB≤1.2×10-2, (3) oxygen content(0; wt.%); 0/CTAB≤1.3×10-2, (4) the weight ratio of nitrogen content and oxygen content O/N; O/N≤3.0, (5) a basic functional group concentration (B; meq/g); 2.0×10-4≤B/ CTAB≤1.0×10-2 and (6) a shell rubber amount (S); 5.0×10-6≤S≤5.0×10-5. This rubber composition is obtained by compounding 20-100 pts.wt. of the carbon black with 100 pts.wt. of rubber.
