Abstract:
To provide a carbon brush which can be further elongated in life while maintaining conductivity between a rectifier segment and the brush favorable.
A positive-electrode side brush 109a and a negative-electrode side brush 109b as the carbon brush are formed by baking, solidifying and bonding abrasive compound agent powder 123 produced by integrating amorphous carbon 121 as an abrasive and copper powder 122 as a conductive metal (high-conductivity metal), graphite (crystal) powder 124, and copper powder 125 in advance.
