Title:
CARBON-CARRYING POROUS ADSORBENT FOR DIOXINS, HEAVY METALS, AND RADIOACTIVE SUBSTANCES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018047421
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent that has excellent adsorption capability, and in particular, is useful for adsorption and detoxification treatment of radioactive substances, dioxins, heavy metals.SOLUTION: Provided is a carbon-supported porous adsorbent, characterized and obtained by calcining a porous inorganic mineral in which the oils/fats derived during the course of refining of animal and vegetable oils/fats are remaining in adsorbed or impregnated state, in the atmosphere to carbonize the oils/fats. The adsorbent is produced by charging a porous inorganic mineral in which the oils/fats derived during the course of refining of oils/fats are remaining, into a combustion carbonization apparatus whose upper part is open to the atmosphere, heating and calcining up to the flash point of each oils/fats, and thereafter allowing self-combustion with the contained oils/fats of the porous inorganic mineral to carbonize.SELECTED DRAWING: None
