Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent carbon from adhering or depositing inside the curved part of ascension pipe in coke furnace so that the carbon cleaning labor is largely saved.
CONSTITUTION: A flat spray nozzle 4 which can inject the liquid at a wide angle is set detachably to the upper part of the T-shaped pipe to form the wetted wall on the side wall and a 50mm high weir is formed on the bottom surface of the T-shaped pipe 5 on the upper stream side and another 30mm high weir 7 is formed on the bottom surface 7 of the curved pipe 1 to form the wetted walls by using the liquid between the weirs.
