To provide a carbon dioxide gas laser oscillator which prevents characteristics change of laser light due to the heat absorptivity increase which is caused by a vaporized organic substance existing in a vacuum vessel and floating fine dust that adhere to a surface of a partial reflection mirror.
A component having an opening for allowing laser light to pass through is disposed near an electrode side surface of a partial reflection mirror so as to completely close an inflow path where a laser medium approaches the surface of the partial reflection mirror, and an inner surface of the opening is made of porous type alumite. Further, the component is cooled so that the temperature of the component becomes lower than that of the laser medium which flows in.
