Abstract:

To provide a carbon material for a lithium ion secondary battery electrode which makes an initial charge-discharge capacity higher than before.

The carbon material is obtained by heating phenylfluorone at 600-3,000°C. The initial charge-discharge capacity is improved by using the carbon material in the lithium ion secondary battery electrode. Output density is improved by using the carbon material in a lithium ion capacitor electrode.
