Abstract:
To provide a CO manufacturing apparatus that can enhance the effective utilization of CO2 while reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.SOLUTION: A CO manufacturing apparatus 1 of an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a CO2 electrolytic unit 3 including a cathode unit 6 for generating a CO by electrolyzing a CO2 and an anode unit 7 for generating an oxide by oxidizing a to-be-oxidized material; a CO purification unit 4 for purifying the CO-containing gas supplied from the CO2 electrolytic unit 3 to obtain a pure CO; and a H2 purification unit 5 for purifying the CO extracted residual gas discharged from the CO purification unit to obtain a pure H2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
